Last month, the former WWE Women’s tag team champion Sasha Banks and Naomi did the unthinkable that shocked the wrestling fans. As reported by the WWE, ‘The Boss’ and ‘The Glow’ were unhappy with their treatment as women’s tag team champions.
During the episode of Monday Night Raw on May 16, Sasha Banks and Naomi furiously stepped inside Head of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis’s office. Not only that, but the former WWE Women’s tag team champion dropped their titles and walked out of the arena.

However, WWE Hall of Famer confirmed Banks was always rebellious, and it was not exactly a piece of news for him. In contrast, it was a pleasure for WWE legend, Road Dogg, to work with ‘The Glow’ Naomi.
WWE legend compares Sasha Banks and Naomi’s walkout with Stone Cold Steve Austin
Triple H’s former partner from D-Generation X, Road Dogg, with the co-host, Ryan Katz, held a special edition of the Oh, You Didn’t Know podcast. On the latest episode of the ‘Ask Dogg Anything’ edition, fans asked him to share his reaction to Sasha Banks and Naomi’s walkout.
Road Dogg said, “Well, then I find out it’s not a work, and they (WWE) are suspending them, and they’re talking horribly about them on TV. I think they did the same thing when Stone Cold (Steve Austin) left. But I don’t think it’s beneficial for anybody.”

At first, Dogg thought it was a work because WWE was talking about it so much on TV. However, Brian James, aka Road Dogg, then compared the former Women’s tag team champion situation with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

He pointed out that once Stone Cold Steve Austin walked out in 2002 before the airtime. The WWE Hall of Famer also believed that there was a more diplomatic way for the company to deliver the news on-air. But they didn’t do so.

When Brian James was a lead writer for WWE SmackDown, he closely worked with ‘The Glow‘ Naomi. WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg couldn’t stop singing praises of former SmackDown Women’s Champion.
“Sasha [Banks] same! Entertaining young lady, great wrestler, great professional wrestler. But had some stuff in the past where she bucked up against the system a little bit,” Dogg added.
