Hulk Hogan is a name that echoes through every wrestling fan’s ears. He enjoyed immense popularity during his days in WWE and WCW. Even after he retired from the sport, The Hulkamania maintained his legacy and was one of the most popular stars of the Golden Era.

Hogan’s charismatic nature and his showmanship made him a natural star. Throughout his career, he had various spectacular matches with some of the greatest stars to ever step foot in the ring. He fought with The Ultimate Warrior, Andre the Giant, and even The Rock.

During the legacy of his career, Hogan maintained his iconic horseshoe moustache and blonde hair. Hogan had his last match in TNA on February 21, 2013, in London, England. Post which, he never wrestled again.

However, Hulk Hogan always maintained his iconic look until 2020, when he had to undergo a surgery and changed his look completely. Hulk Hogan outgrew a white shiny beard and underwent an interesting look change. Hogan even claimed that fans were comparing him with Santa Claus.

According to Hogan, some fans even compared the legend with the Greek God, Zeus. Hogan, however, made the fans know he would be shaving his beard and coming back to his original look. The Hulkster presented a completely new look, in which Hogan was never seen before.

Hulk Hogan was also rumored to return to wrestling for one last match before his retirement, but unfortunately that has not yet taken place, although the fans would surely like to see him once again, similar to Ric Flair’s one last match.

Hulk Hogan left the music world to become a top star in wrestling

The 69-year-old had always been interested in music. Hogan spent a decade playing fretless bass guitar in the State of Florida. He attended the University of South Florida and after receiving an ample amount of music gigs, Hogan dropped out of his university.

The Hulkster then created the band ‘Ruckus’ with two other local musicians in 1976. The band gained quite a good amount of popularity in the Tampa Bay region. Hogan also revealed in an interview with Vice that their band was into the rock genre, and had also created a few originals of their own. According to Hogan, the wrestlers of that era often frequented their musical gigs.

However, Hogan had to bid adieu to music after he started lifting, went and later trained for wrestling and made a name for himself in that industry.
