John Cena loved playing a superhuman-Esque heroic character in WWE. Although he is not a full-time wrestler in the company, Cena continues to play heroic characters and his next target is the Marvel Cinematic Universe aka MCU.

Cena’s latest Hollywood venture was playing Peacemaker in the Suicide Squad. The movie did great at the box office and Cena‘s character got a show of his own.

Meanwhile, MCU has planned to reboot the Fantastic Four series following their buyout of 20th Century Fox. As the castings will soon begin, Cena has expressed his wish to star as ‘The Thing.’

In a recent interview with Esquire, Cena went to promote his latest film ‘Vacation Friends’. He was asked if he would play the iconic hero from the Fantastic Four.

“I would consider most any-thing,” Cena revealed. “I think keeping yourself open to options and different perspectives is a good way to go about life. This would simply be a thing that I would consider because I like to keep my perspective open to new things.”

Previously, Michael Chiklis and Jamie Bell played the character of The Thing aka Benjamin Jacob Grimm. The Thing is noted for his rocky appearance, sense of humor, wit, and trademark battle cry “it’s clobberin’ time!”

Next up, he was asked if the fans will ever get a DCEU and MCU crossover. To this, Cena said he had no idea as he was “a noob.” But it all depends upon the fans.
