Kurt Angle hasn’t done a lot of Hollywood movies, but he’s been a part of few. One such movie was Pain and Gain alongside Dwayne Johnson a.k.a. The Rock.

During his conversation with Conrad Thompson, he detailed his experience working on the sets of Pain and Gain for a fight scene. The Olympic Gold Medalist had an excellent time working with Dwayne Johnson and the entire team of Pain and Gain.

“I reached out to Rock’s team and I told him I was interested in being in the film. And Dwayne got me in the film and we had a great fight scene. It was a lot of fun. I had a lot of fun with Rock that day. ”

“I didn’t see him much because he was filming other scenes but the great thing about it was I got the opportunity to be directed by Michael Bay, one of the best directors in the history of filmmaking. That was a total honor. I learned so much from him and how to shoot a scene and what he was looking for… It was a lot of fun.”

Kurt Angle wants a spot on the commentators table

During the same conversation, Angle revealed that even if he doesn’t return to the wrestling industry as an athlete, he would love to return as a commentator. Unfortunately, as of now, he hasn’t received an offer from any company about the same.

“I have considered it. I just haven’t had an offer. I’m not sure why, probably, maybe because they don’t think I would be a good commentator, I don’t know. But, if I had the offer, I would consider it. You know, nobody has offered it to me.”

However, Kurt Angle previously revealed he was talking to WWE about returning to the company. During that time, he didn’t expand on what capacity he was returning.

Now, a meaningful period of time has passed since that information. Moreover, the former WWE Universe was rather excited by the news. It’s possible Angle and WWE were in talking terms about a commentator’s role which may have not matured as expected.
