Kurt Angle is one of the legendary WWE superstars of all time. The Olympic Gold medalist had rivalries with several superstars during his WWE career. And John Cena is one such individual against whom Angle had fought inside the squared circle.

During a recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle revealed how John Cena behaved with others backstage or in the locker room. Further, Angle even claimed Cena is that kind of guy that he would like his daughter to date.

He said, “He [John Cena] wasn’t brash or quiet. But he got along with everybody. Like I said before, he was really respectful and greeted everybody when he came in the room.”

Angle added, “He was just a nice kid. He’s almost as close to perfect as there is, to be honest with you. He’s the kind of guy I’d want my daughter to date.”

John Cena is one of the biggest WWE stars. After making his WWE main roster debut in 2002, Cena climbed the ladder to reach the top.

Not only did fans like his performances, almost all his fellow pro wrestlers had nothing but respect for The Cenation Leader. Such comments tell a lot about John Cena’s character. This shows why he is respected so much in this professional wrestling business.

Is John Cena returning to WWE?

It has been several months since the WWE Universe last saw Cena battle it out in the squared circle. John Cena’s last televised match took place at WWE SummerSlam 2021.

On that night, he competed against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship. The two men gave the audience an entertaining match. But in the end, the Tribal Chief got the better of Cena.

After that, Cena competed in a dark match. In that match, he teamed up with Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio to take on The Bloodline. Recently, there have been rumors about ‘The Champ’ returning to WWE at WWE SummerSlam 2022.
