Although Brock became a go-to person for Angle, he soon planned to leave WWE and head to UFC and Japan to explore his career in the world of combat sports.

Speaking on his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, Angle admitted that after Lesnar left, it was difficult to get a hold of Lesnar because he is not a people person.

“It’s always been ‘see you when I see you’ because Brock isn’t that much of a social butterfly,” Angle chuckled. “Calling him and saying ‘How are you? What’s going on with your life…, how’s your family?’. Brock’s not really into that stuff. If you call him, you’re most likely gonna get an answering machine.”
