He won the WWE Championship six times and also got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009. But one thing that will forever stay unique is his customized WWE Championship belt back in 1998.

The belt became famous as the Smoking Skull belt. On the main plate, the belt had a skull with smoke coming out of its eyes. In an episode of Grilling JR Podcast, Jim Ross talked about the famous Smoking Skull belt.

Jim Ross said, “It was a cool belt, but it was a gimmick belt. Even though I’m not a championship belt aficionado, I know what they are supposed to represent and what they are supposed to symbolize.”

“Let’s put the last Super Bowl trophy. Let’s put Tom Brady’s bust at the top of it. No. It’s a Lombardi trophy. It’s not gonna be tampered with,” he added.
