WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes is currently riding a high tide. Last year, after he made his move from AEW to WWE, he registered himself as a premium superstar, and one of the biggest superstars in the wrestling industry.
Rhodes would return at WrestleMania 38 last year, and face, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins in a winning bout. Their rivalry would continue for months before Rhodes would tear a pec, and be sidelined for nearly seven months. However, he would return early from his injury to win the Royal Rumble 2023 match and earn himself a championship match at WrestleMania 39.

Recently, former WWE superstar and current legend spoke about Cody Rhodes and addressed his current status in the company. Although, while speaking about it, he seemed rather critical of one particular feature of Rhodes.
The American Nightmare got himself a neck tattoo prior to his match against MJF at Revolution 2020 in AEW. His tattoo, though obnoxiously large, has proven to be lucky for him.
Cody Rhodes’ neck tattoo is rather patriotic and features the American Flag in a different shape and form. He also has another tattoo on his left chest, written, “Dream”, signifying his father, Dusty Rhodes, the American Dream.
What did WWE Legend Kurt Angle comment about Cody Rhodes’ neck tattoo?
WWE legend Kurt Angle, who has one tattoo of his own, spoke about Rhodes’ tattoo, and even slipped a cheeky comment on it. Angle said on his show, “The Kurt Angle Show” that whatever Rhodes liked suited him. However, when asked about getting a neck tattoo of his own, he joked about it.
He said, “‘Broken freakin’ neck.’ That would be a great idea.” Angle symbolized his broken neck, and how his catchphrase would suit better on his neck as a form of a tattoo. Angle is known for his humor, and his cheeky dig at Rhodes was a light-hearted comment.

Similar to Reigns, Rhodes has a few tattoos of his own. One on his neck, the other on his finger, and the other on his chest. But what does those mean?
His chest tattoo is spelled “Dream” as a reference to his father, The American Dream, Dusty Rhodes. This finger tattoo is an inverted triangle, with a line separating it, signifying his family. And his most iconic tattoo, his neck tattoo. His neck tattoo is a skull with a crown on it, dressed in American flag colors.
