Several WWE superstars have found their way into the world of Hollywood, with some of the most popular names being, Dwayne Johnson, John Cena, and Dave Bautista. These three stars have also been part of the comic book movie franchise boom, with Cena and The Rock playing roles in DCU and Batista playing the role of Drax in the MCU’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

Recently, WWE legend Kurt Angle expressed his desire of being a part of the either of these billion dollar franchises. Previously known for his excellent gimmick and character work alongside his wrestling abilities, Angle too wants in on the comic book movies bandwagon.

Apart from Angle, previously Becky Lynch was hinted at being part of an MCU film.

What did Angle say?

Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania recently hit the theatres. Similar to the other recent films of Marvel, Ant-man failed to impress both the fans and the critics. However, 54-year-old WWE Legend Kurt Angle recently took to Twitter, to announce how much he loved the film.

 

 

He would express his desires of being a part of the cinematic universe in future projects. Not only would Angle tag Marvel, he would also bring along DCU as a part of his desire of being in a superhero film. Although, a good wrestler, fans are unsure of his acting abilities. Although he holds similarities to a popular Marvel supervillain that will surpise many.

Kurt Angle shares uncanny resemblance with Marvel Supervillain

Apart from his desires of playing a role in a superhero film, Angle shares an uncanny resemblance to Marvel’s mad titan, Thanos. Back in 2019, Angle had agreed to the memes on social media, and accepted his similar looks with Thanos.

He would play along the joke and show a true sportsman spirit.  He would jokingly claim that although, him and Thanos look similar, Thanos is not his son. However, that was quite a few years ago. Now Angle is extremely inspired and determined to be a part of a super hero film.
