WWE confirmed December 6th, 2020 as the date for its special event – Tribute To The Troops. It will happen at the ThunderDome and FOX will air it.

This is the 18th year the wrestling industry giant is hosting this show, with the first edition being in 2003.

WWE designed the show to honor the armed forces for their services. Servicemen and servicewomen from the Military will be present in the arena. This is the first time since the inauguration of the Thunderdome that it will have a live audience.

The regional NFL on FOX airs on the same day. Considering it will air alongside the games from the National Football League, the viewership for the show will be much higher than previous years.

WWE and FOX Sports CEOs release their statements

The CEO and Executive Producer of FOX Sports, Eric Shanks, released a statement conveying his support for the show.

“Supporting the United States military year-round is an essential part of FOX Sports’ mission, and partnering with WWE on their Tribute to the Troops is an incredible extension of this ongoing commitment.”
