WWE NXT Results: Newest Superstar Copies The Rock’s Iconic People’s Elbow

The Rock is one of the biggest WWE Superstars in WWE history with the best wrestling skills and mic skills. He has the most iconic wrestling moves that can take down you in minutes.

In the recent episode of NXT 2.0, NXT Superstar Grayson Waller copied The Rock’s signature move ‘The People’s Elbow’. The latest episode of NXT kick-started with the showdown between NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa and Grayson Waller.

Although the NXT Title was not on the line, Ciampa kept his champion mentality to shut down Grayson Waller. The match started with ruthless aggression from Ciampa on the Australian star.

However, the young superstar got in the match with quick momentum. He gave his best to be in the fight. During the match, Waller used the most electrifying move of The Rock ‘The People’s Elbow’. Waller tried his best to keep the champ on the ground, but Ciampa knocked Waller with a Fairy Tale ending in the end.

Before the match, Waller ranted about John Cena, The Rock, and the Universal Champion Roman Reigns and compared himself. Also, he insulted Tomasso Ciampa saying that he doesn’t fit in that video package.

Real Reason Behind Absence of The Rock at Survivor Series

Recently, WWE celebrated The Rock’s 25th anniversary on his debut in WWE 25 years ago. WWE created a great hype in his WWE Survivor Series return. However, the fans were disappointed.

The Rock is one of the best WWE Superstars with a big fan following. His WWE career was a successful journey. At Survivor Series, the WWE fans were disappointed as The Rock didn’t make an appearance on Sunday. The reason behind his absence is that he is currently shooting for his upcoming movie overseas, which restricted him with quarantine restrictions.

However, The Brahma Bull was never booked for the Survivor Series pay-per-view. Although WWE gave a great build-up to The Rock’s 25th Anniversary with a 25-man dual-brand battle royal to tribute The Rock.

The 25-man battle royal at Survivor Series featured superstars from both brands with one man stand at last. The last man standing tall in the ring was Omos from Monday Night Raw. He eliminated 12 men in the battle royale, registering his final elimination with Ricochet.
