WWE could be returning to Saudi Arabia with live events as soon as October 2021.

As of now, these are rumours, and there’s been no confirmation from WWE’s end. However, considering the company has restarted their tour, and the Superstars are back on the road, it’s possible to company will begin their overseas events.

Moreover, WWE has a contract with Saudi General Sports Authority where it’s supposed to run two events every year for a ten year span. WWE signed the deal in 2018. Hopefully, it will return to Saudi Arabia before Survivor Series 2021.

WWE aims to bring back The Rock at Survivor Series 2021

2021’s version of Survivor Series will mark the 25th anniversary of The Great One’s debut. To make it special for the WWE Universe, the company wants to bring him back to the event. Moreover, it doesn’t want his comeback to be a one time, one segment occasion. The company wants to bring The Rock back, and have him wrestle, at Survivor Series itself.

Initially, the idea was to bring back The Rock at WrestleMania, especially when it went to Hollywood. He would return against Roman Reigns, and the company would earn massive ratings and revenue via this match.

However, John Cena returned at Money in the Bank 2021. This slimmed down The Rock’s possibility of returning against Roman Reigns since Cena challenged The Tribal Chief for the Universal Champion.

Even though Roman Reigns hasn’t accepted the challenge, if the company makes it happen, it’ll be quite the money-making match. Moreover, if Cena becomes the champion, he may be the one against whom The Brahma Bull will return.
