Dwayne Johnson was recently announced as the latest board member of the WWE and UFC parent company, TKO. Following this onboarding, Johnson is now an integral part of the sports entertainment company. His induction into the management team of the promotion induces many interesting questions.

Recently, as part of the announcement, Johnson, along with Nick Khan, was asked in a short interview about facing off against Donald Trump in the ring. The intriguing question caught both WWE personalities off guard as the President of the company went on to answer the question by praising Johnson indirectly.

After the former wrestler was announced as the latest board member for TKO, he was publicly present for various interviews. As a result, he had a run-in with Will Cain, the co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend. Cain was talking to both Johnson and Nick Khan on camera and asked whether it would be possible for “The Rock” to feud with Donald Trump.

Since Trump had previously feuded with Vince McMahon as part of a storyline, his return for another feud against Johnson would make sense because the latter is also a board member now. But the President of WWE believes otherwise.

Nick Khan gave his honest opinion by saying, “Listen, The Rock against Donald Trump, I don’t know how well that would work in the ring for Donald Trump.” This indirectly implies that Khan has full faith in The Brahma Bull that he would be able to destroy the former United States President in a ring match.

But from a fan’s perspective, it may grab a lot of attention, especially because a few months ago, DJ was getting increased attention from fans across the globe to run for the next US Presidential elections. There was even a dedicated website to urge him to run for office.

Although Khan kind of turned down the possibility of Johnson having an on-screen feud with Donald Trump, other changes will be observed in the WWE legend’s professional life.

An immediate effect that will be seen in Johnson’s professional life following his induction as the latest TKO board member is how some of his decisions will be biased toward Netflix. After the $5 billion+ deal with the promotion to bring Monday Night Raw on Netflix starting January 2025, Johnson believes he might also favor Netflix more.
