Seth Rollins Destroys New Victim After Blinding Rey Mysterio

Seth Rollins committed the unthinkable at WWE Extreme Rules when he pulled Rey Mysterio’s eye out of his socket. Any sane minded person would self-reflect after inflicting such dastardly punishment on another man.

However, the Monday Night Messiah is way past the point of guilt. On tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw, the former WWE Champion found his latest victim.

If you think that Rollins was done runing careers last night, then today he showed that last night may just have been the beginning of a brutal run.

As was expected, Rollins kicked off Monday Night Raw to explain his actions. After seemingly sympathising with Mysterio, he proceeded to blame the master of the 619 for forcing Rollins to commit this heinous act.

However, Mysterio’s friend Aleister Black had heard enough. He rushed to the ring and decided to teach Rollins a lesson in respect.

After taking out Buddy Murphy with a series of kicks, he turned his attention to Rollins himself, setting up a match to kickstart Raw.

Seth Rollins destroys Aleister Black

An evenly poised match started to title towards Aleister Black as he looked in some fine form. Even the numbers game couldn’t save Rollins as Black kicked everything moving.

At one point in the match, he hit a devastating Black mass on Rollins who rolled out of the ring. Buddy Murphy decided to interfere but was dealt with a black mass.

However, not being able to pin Rollins immediately spelt doom for the Black. The Monday Night Messiah changed his strategy as he systematically targeted the arm of Aleister Black.

This proved successful as after a few distractions from Murphy, Seth put away Black with a curb stomp.

However, his evil mind wasn’t satisfied yet. Seth destroyed the arm of Black, first using the ringpost and then the announce desk. Finally, he stomped Black’s arm before the officials stopped the carnage.

This seems like the direction that Rollins will be taking for now. The takedown of Rey Mysterio at Extreme Rules has lent a degree of credibitly to his Monday Night Messiah persona which looked more talk than action before that match.

However, it seems like he’s just being set up for the much anticipated debut of Rey Mysterio’s son Dominik. The amount of pain that WWE is taking to put over the younger Mysterio makes it obvious that they want him to hunt a big fish in the beginning itself.

Needless to say, it will immediately propel him to the big leagues. That’s a huge thing considering the time Superstars spend in NXT before even standing a chance at gaining a prominent status on the main roster.

As for Rollins, it’s difficult to predict where he goes from there. Just last year, he slayed the beast Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania and won the Universal Championship.
