We are just days away from the 2024 Elimination Chamber and the story has taken an interesting turn. Last week on Monday Night Raw, fans saw interesting matches and shocking twists. Tonight, Raw will be held at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California and we are in for a treat. Gunther is set to defend his title, Cody Rhodes has to face a formidable foe, R-Truth has backup tonight and we find out who will earn the final spot at the 2024 Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

Cody Rhodes vs Drew McIntyre:

Rhodes and McIntyre’s career has come to a full circle as the Dashing Ones now stand against each other sparring. The first match of the night was between the two stars. While Rhodes does have skills, he is no match to the Scottish Psycopath’s pure brute force. Also, let’s not forget McIntyre has been totally unhinged lately, fighting almost everyone, and mauling anyone who comes in his way.

But the brute force is not going to stop Rhodes. Just when Rhodes was able to capitalize after delivering an over-the-top Cody Cutter, he was attacked by Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. McIntyre delivered a claymore thus securing his win against Cody Rhodes. Is Roman Reigns assembling an army to fight the American Nightmare?

Winner: Drew McIntyre

Backstage Segment: We saw Rhodes sitting in the medical office where Adam Pearce asked him all concerned whether he was okay. After that, Seth Rollins came in to pat him which might hint that he is feeling sorry that he was unable to come and save him.

Last Chance Battle Royal To Qualify For Women’s Elimination Chamber:

Looks like Adam Pearce did not hesitate while booking this match. The ring was full of stars apart from Shayna Baszler, Michin, Zoey Stark, Alba Fyre,& Zelina Vega. Raquel Rodriguez returned after she was last seen on the December 3, 2023, episode of Raw. Maxxine Durpi was unable to survive for long as she was eliminated by Valhalla. She was then in turn eliminated by Rodriguez. The Unholy Union teamed up against Rodriguez, but she was able to break the tag team.

Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler were seen partenring up to clear the ring. Elektra Lopez was able to eliminate Vega, and Lopez was eliminated by Michin. Stark and Baszler were able to eliminate Indie Hartwell and Katana Chance. In the end, it was Stark, Baszler, Michin, & Rodriguez left in the ring. The duo was able to eliminate Michin but had the task of dealing with Rodriguez.  She proved to be a dominating force and secured her spot for the 2024 Elimination Chamber. She now joins Naomi, Liv Morgan, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and Tifanny Straton.

Winner: Raquel Rodriguez.

R-Truth, The Miz, & DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) vs The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh):

Last week, R-Truth was executed by the Judgment Day. This week along with some of his buddies, he is ready to get his revenge. R-Truth, The Miz, & the DIY made their way to the ring first. After a while, the Judgment Day made its way to the ring. The bell rang and the eight-man tag team match started.  McDonagh and The Miz started the match. However, it only took moments for an all-out brawl to start. R-Truth and the team were able to throw Judgment Day out of the ring and did the famous D Generation X gesture. Finally, R-Truth made his way to the ring and laid waste to his arch-nemesis, JD McDonagh. However, he was quickly thrown out of the ring where Priest started beating up R-Truth.

Truth was able to make his way back to the ring but ended up in Balor’s elbow lock. DIY’s Tommaso Ciampa was able to set him free thus clearing the ring for a while. However, after a while, it was just R-Truth and Priest in the ring. Truth did not show any mercy for his former friend. Even though Truth was able to pin Priest on a couple of occasions, he fell short and Priest pinned him.

Winner: The Judgment Day.

In-Ring segment: Becky Lynch came to the ring ahead of her first-ever Elimination Chamber match. One by one all the qualifiers for the Women’s Elimination Chamber made their way to the ring. Each of them explained why they deserved to win the elimination chamber. However, a brawl broke out and Nia Jax came to the ring and attacked all the women one by one.

Chad Gable vs Ivar

The match quickly went outside the ring with Ivar dominating the fight.  The two came back into the ring and Ivar delivered a pedigree that left Gable stunned. However, Gable was able to change the tides of the match with a few German Suplexes and an ankle lock which made Ivar submit.

Winner: Chad Gable

Gunther vs Jey Uso:

The main event for the night was Gunther, who has been the Intercontinental Champion for more than 600 days and will be defending his title against Jey Uso after he was able to win the triple threat match against him and Imperium last week. The Ring General started off strong with his signature chops. No matter how high Uso flew, he was not able to withstand the chops.

However, after a while, he was able to perform a Samoan Drop, giving him the leverage he needed to win the match. But Gunther was back on his feet, delivering power bombs. However, Uso was able to get the upper hand once again when Gunther was down. But no matter what Uso did, Gunther stood tall like a pillar. After several spears and splashes, Uso was moments away from securing his win. However, Jimmy Uso rang the bell, distracting everyone. The Main event star lost focus and was unable to perform. Jey Uso was pinned by Gunther .

Winner: Gunther
