Satomura did not take names, but she explained she wants to move forward to a new stage in life. She is rumored to be moving to England to serve as a wrestler-cum-coach for the NXT UK brand from next month.
She denied moving any possibility of her moving to NXT UK. However, independent wrestlers often deny joining a promotion. They do so to work on the surprise factor for when they do make their bow in the promotion.

Meiko Satomura will be pivotal in WWE
Meiko is of legendary status in Japan. She debuted in an all-female wrestling promotion called Gaea Japan and won multiple accolades across various promotions.
The rumor, if true, would not be Meiko Satomura’s first work, WWE. In the past, she had a brief stint with the company. The Japanese star was a participant in the second-ever Mae Young Classic in 2018.
She advanced into the semi-finals before the eventual winner, Toni Storm, defeated her.

WWE loves to sign wrestlers of great stature into their own. They mainly do it to tap into the superstar’s vast fanbase. As of now, there are no reports if the agreement with Satomura is permanent or not. WWE often asks new talents to keep mum about their debut, so fans don’t expect Meiko to release a statement.
