There is only one WWE superstar that everyone associates rapping and rap culture with, and it is John Cena. The leader of the Cenation was not always the champ who stood for Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect. The man whose entry led to the start of Ruthless Aggression came up with the idea of the Doctor of Thuganomics. One of these copycats, who became one of the most popular and funny acts on WWE later, once delivered a major blow to Vince McMahon and John Cena in a rap video from the 2000s. But the same guy, over a decade later, would become the most decorated superstar in the company’s history.

This WWE superstar once called out Vince McMahon and John Cena in a rap video

The superstar that we are talking about is none other than the funniest WWE goofball, R-Truth. In a resurfaced video from his TNA days, we can clearly see how Truth berates WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Cena while talking big about TNA. The video was shot in his car and while the rap has good flow and cadence, Truth would regret making this video years later as he was scouted to join WWE.

Being one of the few left from the old days of WWE signings in the late 2000s, Truth has reinvented himself countless times. Whether it was being the 24/7 Champion more than 50 times, having the funniest segments with Brock Lesnar, or being in a mixed tag team with Carmella, he excelled at everything.

Even during his old days, he had a great tag team with Goldust. But now, we see fewer and fewer appearances from the 50-year-old WWE superstar. While fans would love to see one WWE Championship run from our homeboy, there’s less than no chance of him becoming one in the next few years. But even Kofi Kingston got his chance, so there’s nothing stopping us from imagining Truth holding the world title.
