WWE Star Who Trained With Brock Lesnar Paid an Emotional Tribute to ‘Black Panther’ Star Chadwick Boseman in 2020

WWE has often seen allying itself directly with pop-culture trends. It either allies itself with trending pop-culture themes or often brings Hollywood actors or music stars to its shows. Sometimes, involving them directly in storylines.

Music stars such as Bad Bunny saw themselves directly involved in a storyline, while Machine Gun Kelly faced a powerbomb at the hands of Kevin Owens. However, it is very rare when a WWE Superstar takes to Twitter to announce a tribute.

Renowned Hollywood actor and Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman lost his battle with cancer and passed away in 2020. Boseman took his last breath on 28th August 2020. The news of his untimely demise shocked the world, and everyone started reacting to the news.

The sequel to the first Black Panther movie was already in the making then, and his untimely death meant everything had to be changed. Black Panther’s titular actor’s death led to another superstar of color from the WWE world to react.

WWE veteran Shelton Benjamin took to Twitter to show his respect and tribute to Chadwick Boseman at the time. He wrote, “Rest In Peace Chadwick Boseman #wakandaforever“. Shelton Benjamin is a long-time veteran of WWE, and had even trained with Brock Lesnar during his early days.

Chadwick Boseman was a beloved actor, respected and loved by many. His untimely death was heartbreaking, especially since the majority were unaware of his fight with cancer. Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever came out recently, and it paid a wholesome tribute to the original Black Panther.

WWE legend to return to WrestleMania 39 for a match?

John Cena is one of the most popular WWE Superstars, and a WWE legend in the truest sense. However, for a long time now, he has left WWE full-time, and is now trying to earn his name in Hollywood. With already a huge star power to his name, he has starred and garnered rave reviews for his roles in numerous successful films and series.

His recent series, Peacemaker, received positive reviews, and is one of DC’s highest rated series. Ever since his debut in 2002, Cena has wrestled at least one match in every calender year until 2022. In 2022, Cena is yet to wrestle a match. However, as per latest reports, John Cena might appear at WrestleMania 39 next year.

The latest reports suggest that the leader of Cenation might return to WWE at WrestleMania 39 for a match. John Cena, not appearing at WrestleMania, will be one of the most highly anticipated event.
