Next week’s NXT is going head-to-head with a very special episode of AEW Dynamite. As you know, WWE recently released its superstar Edge from his contract. He has jumped ship to the Jacksonville-based promotion. And the WWE Hall of Famer will make his debut next week on the AEW’s Wednesday show.

To cope with the situation, WWE has stacked big names to make an appearance in the October 10 edition of WWE’s developmental brand. One more name seems to have joined the prestigious list, and it is The Undertaker. WWE has seemingly dropped a hint of his return to the promotion.

The 10/10 episode of NXT will air live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Word on the street is that The Phenom will be present on the show next week. Mike Johnson of the PWInsider reported this interesting piece of news recently on the website.

In addition, the advertisement video clip for next week’s NXT also featured The Undertaker’s classic gong sound at the end, subtly hinting that he might make an appearance. The chances are looking very high. But still, the news is not 100% confirmed.

It has been 260 days now since his last appearance in WWE and it would be great to see him return, wouldn’t it?

The Undertaker’s last appearance in WWE was in January

The January 23, 2023 edition of Raw was extra special, as the flagship show celebrated its 30th anniversary that day. Many WWE legends were called to make an appearance on the show. One of them was WWE legend and Hall of Famer ‘The Dead Man’.

Donning his American Badass gimmick, he made his way to the ring, riding his iconic bike. He circled around the ring before stopping and entering the ring to confront LA Knight. He then seemingly gave his approval to late superstar Bray Wyatt before their scheduled match at Royal Rumble later, the same month.

As mentioned earlier, The Rated-R Superstar will be making his AEW debut next week, which is going to attract many eyes to the AEW show next week. Since that would gravely affect NXT ratings, WWE decided to do something special to tackle the issue. Superstars like John Cena, Cody Rhodes, and Paul Heyman are already on the list.
