The same report said that Sapp was later released from hospital. Notably, the past few weeks haven’t been the best for the rising star. There were reports that he was on his way out of the company after some scandalous accusations against him.
The same had also been confirmed by Sean Ross Sapp in a seperate Twitter reply to the Matt Men Pro Wrestling Podcast. If the news is indeed true, it’s some real bad news for the young NXT prospect. He was being touted as the next big WWE star.
I've been hearing this, as well as some not so wonderful news about him that doesn't have to do with any of the allegations. https://t.co/34168lwI5l

It is notable that Dream had been in some controversy in April when he was accused of sending unsolicited pictures to minors. Dream had vehemently denied these allegations claiming his account had been hacked. That’s what had caused some great stir in his life at the time.
The incredible potential of the Velveteen Dream in the WWE
His character has been praised by many wrestling pundits for its unique essence. The incredibly over the top persona has resonated perfectly with wrestling fans.
That’s what helped him secure the NXT North American Championship and also challenge for the NXT Championship. His rivalry with Alistair Black was praised as a prime example of good storytelling. The amount of psychology involved along with jaw-dropping in-ring action put Dream on top with some of the best storytellers of the squared circle.

The reason this puts him in a league of his own is because NXT has no dearth of fantastic workers. However, the reason they fail to impress Vince McMahon on the main roster is because the company boss is still obsessed with the entertainment part of sports entertainment.

If he thinks your character won’t sell, he will not give you a lot of time to build one. That’s where Dream stood out. He was all but ready to be served hot to the casual audiences as well as the core fan base of the WWE.
However, this situation has put his career in sone serious jeopardy. With the current speaking out movement in full flow, WWE has adopted a serious attitude towards allegations. That’s what makes it seem like Velveteen Dream has his days numbered in the premium wrestling company.
