It’s not quite clear whether they are returning to cause havoc or make peace. However, given their reputation, the scales tilt towards the former.

The Forgotten Sons were removed from WWE TV after they received heavy backlash from the audience due to a political remark made by Jaxson Ryker.

They were in-line to face The New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team Title Championship. Unfortunately, due to their removal, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura replaced them.

Even though Blake and Cutler distanced themselves from Ryker, his comments had quite the impact on their careers as well.

The two of them had a long NXT haul before being called up. Therefore, to be cast out for another person’s comments invited considerable amount of sympathy for them.

Steve Cutler spent a good six years in the Black and Gold brand before moving up to WWE SmackDown. On the other hand, Wesley Blake was in WWE NXT since 2013.

Compared to the time Blake and Cutler spent in NXT, Ryker only spent three years before moving to the blue brand.

The positive aspect was that there was no heat on them from the audience due to Jaxson Ryker’s comments.

WWE had to make the hard decision of removing them from WWE TV due to the backlash they received. The company considered the impact this removal would have on their careers but had to make the hard choice anyway.
