The next big PPV from WWE premieres this Sunday. Backlash will feature a couple of high profile matches including Edge going against Randy Orton.

WWE decided to recall some old memories from the pay-per-view and took a dig at some Superstars while doing so. The particular clip was from Backlash 2017 in which Orton wreaked havoc on the Singh Brothers Sunil Singh and Samir Singh.

Retracing the events

The Singh Brothers have had some memorable moments in the WWE. They made their debut in 2017 on SmackDown as aides to Jinder Mahal. Mahal became the No.1 contender for the WWE Championship that night.

They would later appear alongside Jinder Mahal for all his matchups. Jinder Mahal won the WWE Championship at Backlash 2017 from Orton thanks to the distraction from the Singh Brothers.

During the match, Orton picked up Samir Singh and attempted a suplex on the announcement table. However, Orton botched the move and the Singh Brother banged his head first on the table.

The botched move and his injury was the subject of matter yet again in WWE’s tweet.

Now they have made a hilarious reply in response to WWE’s tweet. They claimed they received 10 missed calls from their father after the match.

It comes as no surprise considering the fact that Orton did deliver a lot of damage to the duo. Now as Orton sets his eyes on the next Backlash match, WWE gave the fans an idea of what to expect.
