However, Rousey has a good reason for not wrestling as she and her husband, Travis Browne, are expecting their first child.

Ronda Rousey has been very outspoken about her husband’s and her attempts to start a family. It was one of the primary reasons for her WWE hiatus, although it has continued two years now. Despite the long time, Rousey as a mother is simply heartwarming.

Rousey and Travis Browne announced their pregnancy on April 21, 2021 on Instagram. She said, “I’ve been pregnant since January.”

The couple kept the pregnancy a secret for four months, but right now, Rousey is nearing the final trimester.

On Instagram, she posted another picture with her baby bump featuring more prominently. The post received comments from Renee Paquette, who is also expecting her first child with her husband Jon Moxley.

Names like Sarah Logan, Shawn Spears, Eva Marie, Natalya, Marina Shafir and even MMA star Urijah Faber congratulated her.

It’s unlikely when Rousey will return to the ring, but she’s surely going to be a great mother. The Baddest Woman on the Planet and the Baddest Baby on the Planet will surely set our pulses racing in a few months’ time.

Rousey’s top WWE moments

Let’s start at the beginning. Ronda Rousey walked into WWE and pointed at the WrestleMania sign, only to become the most popular star on the roster instantly.

The UFC legend and former Olympian debuted at WrestleMania 34 and put on an incredible performance alongside Kurt Angle against Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.

After dispatching the Authority couple, Rousey took off in another direction. Nia Jax challenged her to a match with her Raw Women’s Title on the line, but that decision would haunt her forever.

Rousey nearly put her away, only for Alexa Bliss to cash in her MITB briefcase and steal the title.

Rousey’s feud with Bliss was mostly Bliss running away from the former UFC star. Once she got her hands on Bliss, Rousey destroyed her and took the Women’s Championship.

She shone in matches against Nikki Bella, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Ruby Riott but ran into a brick wall named Becky Lynch.

Alongside Lynch and Charlotte Flair, Rousey tore the house down in an epic, although slightly underwhelming WrestleMania main event where she lost her title to Becky. Since then, we haven’t seen Rousey in WWE again.
