WWE Superstars Pay Special Tribute to The Undertaker Ahead of Survivor Series 2020

The Undertaker will be officially retiring from WWE at the upcoming Survivor Series 2020. The company is planning a last farewell at the event, and fans are ecstatic about this. To uphold his legacy, Superstars paid a special tribute to him.

It’s almost perfect that his farewell is happening at Survival Series 2020 considering his debut was at Survival Series 1990.

WWE Superstars pay a tribute to The Undertaker

Superstars such as Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, AJ Styles, Sasha Banks, and others captured the essence of ‘The Deadman’.

One of the best tributes was by AJ Styles. The Undertaker’s last match before his unofficial retirement was against Styles in the Boneyard Match at WrestleMania.

Styles dressed up in the classic bandana and perfected the look.

Prime examples of ‘The Deadman’s’ Legacy

The Undertaker dominated the WWE ring for three decades. He has performed in some of the best matches that WWE could come up with.

One of the most talked about matches of him was the triple threat match against Kurt Angle and The Rock. All three of them were at their prime, and a pinfall victory was unlikely.

All three of them wanted to win the WWE Championship, and it was a tough win.

There was a moment when The Undertaker almost took the win by using the choke slam on Kurt Angle. However, The Rock took over and used the ‘Rock Bottom’ on him to secure the win.

The bloodiest match in the history of WWE

Another match which is often mentioned was between The Undertaker and Mankind at Hell in a Cell 1998. In fact, fans consider this match to be one of the most violent matches of all time.

‘The Deadman’ threw Mankind off the top of the cage twice. The referee ended the match assuming that Mankind cannot fight any longer since he was being stretchered away.

He surprised everyone and got off the stretcher to attack Taker.

This match ended with him throwing Mankind off the top of the cage a third time.

To this date, WWE Universe considers this match as one of the bloodiest matches in the company’s history.
