There was a disorder among both teams. First, Kevin Owens turned his back on his teammates after he left the ring, getting himself counted out. But if you think that’s the only betrayal night, you are wrong. Towards the end, Sheamus attacked his own teammate, Jeff Hardy, after complaining about his absence from his corner.

However, it was Team Raw who got the victory and moved ahead by 2-1 on the night. Not only did they move ahead on the night, but they also got the edge over Team SmackDown (4-3) in overall Men’s 5 on 5 Traditional Tag-Team matches at WWE Survivor Series.

Seth Rollins earned a hard-fought victory for Team Raw at WWE Survivor Series 2021 after a valiant effort by Jeff Hardy

The match started disappointingly for Team Raw. Kevin Owens handed them a disadvantage after getting himself counted out. Soon after that, Team SmackDown was in control of the match for a long time as they inflected damage on Rollins, Finn Balor and Theory. But soon, it was complete chaos inside the ring, as Lashley prevented Balor from getting pinned.

Taking advantage of this brawl among all the superstars, Balor made the numbers even for the night by eliminating Happy Corbin by hitting him with a Coup de Grâce from the top rope. Soon after that, Team Raw got an enormous advantage after King Woods fell prey to Bobby Lashley. Lashley speared Woods down and eliminated him by putting him in the Hurt Lock. Soon after that, it was time for the ultimate showdown between Lashley and Drew McIntyre. But the two got so involved in their personal issue that they both got counted out.

Sheamus then made things even for Team SmackDown by eliminating Finn Balor with a Brogue Kick. But what followed next was totally unexpected. It looked like Sheamus and Jeff Hardy were on the same page until Sheamus got eliminated by Austin Theory. Following his elimination, Sheamus attacked Hardy.

After getting hit by Sheamus, Hardy had to put in an impressive performance in order to get the better of both Rollins and Theory. In fact, he almost pulled it off. Hardy first eliminated Theory with a Swanton Bomb from the top rope.
