WWE Teases a Split Between Seth Rollins and Murphy at WWE Payback

The father-son duo of Rey and Dominik Mysterio finally claimed vengeance. Multiple brutal assaults, one Extreme Rules match, and one SummerSlam match later, the duo finally put an end to their feud with Seth Rollins. In their first match as a tag team, the Mysterios defeated Rollins and Murphy. However, the worst might be yet to come for the losers.

Seth Rollins and Murphy Going To Split?

WWE teased a split between Rollins and Murphy after the latter kicked Rollins in the face. Although the attack was purely unintentional, it made Rollins vulnerable. After kicking the Monday Night Messiah, Dominik attacked Murphy with a 619 and a frog splash. Therefore, not only did Murphy kick the Monday Night Messiah, but he also cost them the match. After the match, Rollins gave Murphy a nasty stare and silently walked away.

Tomorrow’s Raw will have Mysterio and Rollins as the main event players. The match would lead to lots of interesting storylines. Especially after Murphy cost the team their match, it is possible that he will hear from Rollins.

The Messiah won’t forget this embarrassment so easily. Maybe we will see a decaying friendship turned into a feud.

Murphy is Messiah Rollins’ oldest disciple. He has proven his loyalty time after time. To prove his loyalty, he drove Aleister Black’s eye into the steel steps in July. They were Raw tag team champions too. However, losing a match is something else. The disciple needs to repent.

Fans are hoping to see the duo split soon. They are two of the greatest athletes in WWE right now. The storyline could be boring if WWE is not careful. However, to see them fight would be great.

After Payback, all eyes are now on Monday Night Raw. A lot of storylines and explanations will surely unfold.
