Tribute To The Troops opened with a 10-man Tag Team match between the good guys and the bad guys from SmackDown. The match momentum went pretty even for both teams and was one of the typical multi man tag team matches we see in WWE.

The end saw most of the men hit their respective finishers in tandem. Montez Ford then hit the ‘From The Heavens’ Frog Splash on the Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn to get the victory for his team.

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair vs Natalya & Bayley

The SmackDown Women’s Champion teamed up with the EST of WWE to take on the ‘BOAT’ Natalya and Bayley. The match went on for a little under 10 minutes and saw some impressive offense, especially from Banks and Belair.

The moonsault allowed Banks to go after Natalya, but it looked like Nattie got the better of Banks. Sasha Banks then turned the tables in an instant when she easily transitioned into the Banks Statement to secure a win for her and Belair.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs The Miz w/John Morrison

Mr. Money In The Bank and his friend John Morrison tried their best to get McIntyre off the track and (probably) win the match. However, the ‘Scottish Warrior‘ had other plans. It didn’t take over five minutes for the WWE Champion to make quick work of The Miz.

The combo of the future shock DDT followed by a kip up and Claymore ended all hopes The Miz had to win. The show ended with Drew McIntyre raising his championship high. His next challenge stands in the form of AJ Styles at WWE TLC.

American Country Music Singer Hardy performed his latest song, “Give Heaven Some Hell” at the WWE special. There were also video messages from the likes of Terry Crews and former WWE 24/7 Champion and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end, Rob Gronkowski.

Overall, it was a fun show, but obviously did not match the level of the previous editions. What were your thoughts on Tribute To The Troops? Let us know in the comments below.
