Alongside being ‘The Boss’ in the ring, Sasha has ventured into being a boss of her career outside the ring too! In the episode credits, they credited Sasha Banks under her real name, Mercedes Varnado. Now, following the success of her acting debut under her real name, Banks changed her name to Mercedes Varnado from Sasha Banks on her social media accounts.

No, Banks is not leaving the WWE, nor does she have a rift with the company. Her username continues to be @SashaBanksWWE on both Instagram and Twitter. It is the first time ‘Mercedes Varnado’ received credits or appreciation for her work. It is obvious for her to bask in the glory she has rightfully earned.
Plus, it is not new for professional wrestlers to use their real names on their social media and not their character names. Way before WWE released Zack Ryder, he had also changed to his real name, Matt Cardona, on social media.
