With WrestleMania 37 in the books, it’s time to look at the next PPV and how WWE continue the momentum. WWE has delivered excellent PPVs this year, and they’d like to continue that tradition with WrestleMania Backlash.

Rey Mysterio and his son can make history by becoming the first father-son duo to win the Tag Team Championships. They’ve bested every team in the SmackDown Tag Team Division, and are the favorites to win.

However, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode are two pros of the game and the most experienced wrestlers in WWE. Can they use their expert ring awareness and sneaky tactics to pull off a big win at Backlash?

Bobby Lashley vs Drew McIntyre vs Braun Strowman: WWE Championship

This match has the potential to level the entire WWE Thunderdome. On a recent episode of Raw, Braun Strowman made both McIntyre and Lashley realize why they should take him seriously at Backlash. He destroyed McIntyre and then drove Lashley through the barricade with a powerslam.

McIntyre and Lashley will renew hostilities and try to put the other man down, but they have to keep the Strowman Express off the tracks. How will Lashley stop two aggressive challengers and walk out of Backlash as champion?

Cesaro vs Roman Reigns: WWE Universal Championship

This match has to headline WrestleMania Backlash. Since SummerSlam 2020, Roman Reigns has been the best thing about WWE in a long time. He deserves to close out the PPV and so does his opponent, Cesaro.

The Swiss Superman earned the right to challenge Reigns for the WWE Universal Title after beating Seth Rollins on SmackDown. One can expect Rollins and the Usos to get involved in this match, but Reigns and Cesaro are surely going to tear the house down.
