Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar put up a good show at Crown Jewel 2021. Whether it was Reigns’ spear or Lesnar’s F5, everything was executed to perfection. However, there could only be one winner, and this time it was The Tribal Chief.

However, possibly there’s a reason why WWE ensured Roman Reigns emerged victorious at Crown Jewel 2021. According to Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company wants to stretch the storyline between The Tribal Chief and The Beast till WrestleMania 38.

”The storyline on where Paul Heyman stands also couldn’t be resolved, as this is likely heading to WrestleMania, since right now there doesn’t appear to be anything on the horizon bigger.” h/t Sportskeeda

Roman Reigns won by because of a referee mishap

When Reigns and Lesnar were battling, The Beast executed a brutal F5 on The Tribal Chief. Unfortunately, when Reigns was dropped, the referee got injured.

But, the F5 was devastating enough to disable The Tribal Chief for a while. It was perfect for a pin, and The Beast went for it. Regrettably, the referee couldn’t do the count, and Lesnar had to let go.

The Tribal Chief took this moment to smash Lesnar, and pin him. By this time another official had arrived in the ring who counted to three, and Reigns walked away as The Universal Champion.
