The WWE commentary table has seen legendary names like Gorilla Monsoon, Jim Ross, and Jerry Lawler among others. One of the emerging names in WWE’s commentary team is Vic Joseph. In a recent episode of ‘Insight with Chris Van Vliet’, Joseph was featured. The host and the guest discussed not one but several things together. Joseph went on to talk about his career in WWE as well. He then revealed some future details pertaining to his role as a commentator in the company.

In the podcast, Joseph shared where he sees himself in WWE in the near future. His intentions are to ‘call’ a WrestleMania main event. “My goal in life is to call the main event of WrestleMania,” said Joseph.

The reason for this is the uniqueness that these matches hold. He went on to clarify, “There’s only so many main events that have happened at WrestleMania, there’s been countless matches, but there’s only been one, or two main events.

Although fans must have seen Joseph commentating on a lot of matches before, his true desire is to call a main event of a WrestleMania event. He is humbled by all the experiences and learnings he has gained while working with different commentators all this while. The 37-year-old wants more and more commentators to work with so he can continue to “elevate” himself.

To close off the topic, Joseph revealed that this desire to call a WrestleMania main event is what keeps him going every week.

The voices who called the main events during both nights at WrestleMania 39 this year were veteran commentator Michael Cole and Corey Graves. Both of them have been with WWE for a significant amount of time. Cole is one of the most iconic voices of the WWE commentary.

The 54-year-old has been with the promotion for over two decades. When talking about remarkable journeys, Corey Graves’ doesn’t fall short either.

Graves joined WWE as an in-ring performer. A twist of fate eventually had him working as a color commentator for the promotion. Now, fans can recognize him through his unique commentary style. Hopefully, Vic Joseph would also be able to call a WrestleMania main event soon if he keeps his learning attitude intact.
