By “a billion-dollar wrestling company,” T-Bar is obviously referring to WCW. Eric Bischoff was the executive producer as well as president of the company.

Even though T-Bar blamed Bischoff for the WCW’s downfall, it was during Bischoff’s time that the company saw its peak. WCW’s successful run forced WWE(WWF) to change their ways, ushering in the iconic “Attitude Era.” In fact, fans still talk about the Monday Night Wars between WWE and WCW in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Eric Bischoff is still considered as a creative genius. He transformed wrestling in multiple ways and was responsible for launching many iconic careers.

His “heel authority” attitude inspired many characters and storylines. To call him a straight-up failure will be silly, hence T-Bar gave him a backhanded compliment.

T-Bar (previously known as Dominik Dijakovic) may tweet seemingly “silly” things but they’re surely entertaining. Can Retribution usher a new era in WWE as WCW did? Will they too burn out in the process? We will have to wait for the answers.
