WWE Universe knows Hulk Hogan for his babyface gimmick. Pro wrestling fans loved his red and yellow American Hero persona. ‘The Hulkster’ was very much attached to his positive character and had no intentions of tuning into a heel.

But at WCW’s Bash at the Beach in 1996, he relinquished his babyface gimmick and adopted a negative character with great success. A while ago, the WWE Universe found out that when nWo was formed, the three pillars of the faction, Hogan, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash, had some differences.

Big Daddy Cool recently spoke on this matter and cleared the misunderstanding that was being built up in the fans’ minds.

Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall had no beef in the early days

During his Kliq This podcast, Sean Oliver asked Nash to share his take on Hogan’s statement about his nWo mates. In the nWo special episode of A&E Biography: WWE Legends, Hogan mentioned that when the nWo was created, all three faction members didn’t “like each other.”

Big Daddy Cool denied the rumors of the nWo trio having any personal feud with each other. He said, “No, it’s never. I mean because at the same time like people have to realize, we’re both marks for the guy. Everybody’s a mark for Hulk. So it’s like you don’t want to strike him. It wasn’t the kind of heat where you want to strike.”

Big Daddy Cool revealed Hogan may have meant it from a wrestling aspect. He clarified that he, Razor Ramon, and The Immortal One had their differences, but it was regarding their different views on business.

He added, “I just think he was used to doing business a certain way, and we were used to doing business a certain way. I mean, you get Scott and I together, there’s a chance one of us might be mistaken, but two of us together? And we both decided it’s correct. We’re right and they’re more of us.”

Each of the stars had his own idea when it came to the wrestling business. And with minds like Nash, Hall, and Hogan, who changed the business entirely there would’ve been a different point of view as to how they saw the business. The disagreements may not have been anything serious as proved by their track record with nWo and how they turned WCW into a pro wrestling giant overnight.
