Recently, in an exclusive interview with Ishan Chavan of EssentiallySports, the former WWE superstar revealed his thoughts on Shane McMahon leaving WWE.

James said, “Family or not, if you have a business disagreement, you have to make a business decision. You got to separate the family from the business.”

“I don’t know what happened, I wasn’t there… I guess they had a disagreement, and they decided to go separate ways. But I don’t think you’ve seen the last of Shane McMahon in WWE. Maybe it’s just for right now,” he added.

James Ellsworth is no stranger to Shane McMahon. In 2016, Shane made Ellsworth the SmackDown mascot for the 2016 Survivor Series match.

During the Survivor Series match, Ellsworth played a major role. He assisted in getting Braun Strowman counted out by holding onto his leg.

How did Shane McMahon do at the Men’s 2022 Royal Rumble Match?

Shane McMahon made a shocking return to in-ring action at the 2022 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. He last wrestled inside the squared circle at WrestleMania 37.

He entered at number 28 and eliminated Kevin Owens. However, Shane later became one of Brock Lesnar‘s victims during the match.

The Beast Incarnate eliminated Shane McMahon and then eliminated Drew McIntyre to grab his ticket to WrestleMania 38.
