McIntyre realised the weight of the situation and that he had everything to lose in this match. He came out of the gates with an early flurry, taking Lashley off his game. MVP slid his cane into the cell for Lashley to regain control, but McIntyre would not take that lightly.

Battering him with an Air Raid Crash on the steel steps, a reverse Alabama Slam on a steel chair, a spinebuster followed by a nasty powerbomb, a Futureshock DDT and a Claymore, but McIntyre still couldn’t put the champion away. It only took one interference from MVP for the All Mighty to take advantage and beat McIntyre.

Lashley took to Twitter to rub salt in McIntyre’s wounds. With this loss, McIntyre cannot challenge Lashley for the WWE Title anymore, and his place in the main event is at risk. Will there be some respite for McIntyre on Raw, or will Lashley continue to mock him for his embarrassing loss.

Lashley calls out a former champion prior to cell match

Since returning to WWE, Bobby Lashley has been very vocal about facing Brock Lesnar. Given their backgrounds in amateur wrestling and MMA, Lashley vs Lesnar is a dream match on every fans’ bucket list. Unfortunately, WWE hasn’t given us a glimmer of hope of a potential showdown.

Ahead of Lashley’s Hell in a Cell match, MVP took to Twitter to make a very bold claim. Responding to a fam who claimed Brock Lesnar would return and beat both Drew and Bobby, he wrote “Lesnar FEARS Lashley”.

Will the Beast or at least Paul Heyman respond to this verbal jab from MVP. Let’s not forget, WWE is talking to Brock Lesnar about a potential return to WWE, and Bobby Lashley and the WWE Title could be on Lesnar’s menu for SummerSlam.
