Fast X is out in the theatres and fans are gushing in to watch the 10th installment of the franchise. The movie features WWE stars John Cena in his second Fast Franchise movie along with the main cast. However, the buzz around the town is for the returning Dwayne Johnson who appears in the post-credits. Knowing the previous beef with Vin Diesel, one of the actresses recently shared her views on The Rock’s return to the movie after seven years.

Michelle Rodriquez recently addressed The Brahma Bull’s cameo in the movie. This might be the first star from the movie to talk about Johnson’s return.

Michelle Rodriguez on Dwayne Johnson returning to the franchise

Recently, actress Michelle Rodriguez gave a quick interview to Entertainment Tonight’s Matt Cohen. She shared her views on the surprise cameo of The Rock in the post-credit scene of the film Fast X.

“They’re gonna be a little pi**ed at us,” Rodriguez said about Johnson’s surprise post-credit scene. The 44-year-old star added, “But, you know, I mean, it’s due. It’s long overdue. It’s the beginning of the end, so we kinda gotta throw it all the wall and see what sticks.”

Furthermore, she shared there will be more scenes of The Rock in the next film. Rodriguez said, “Just ahead of time, you might get a little pi**ed off at us. It just means there’s more.”

The WWE legend joined the Fast Franchise in 2011 with Fast Five and quickly owned the role of Luke Hobbs. However, after the fallout with the male cast member in 2016. He has called them “candy a**es” and “unprofessional” on Instagram.

Moreover, after filming The Fate of the Furious, Johnson publicly declared in 2021, he will not return to the franchise. However, as Rodriguez addressed, The Rock might have given it a thought because it’s the beginning of the end and appeared in the film irrespective of his relationship with Vin Diesel.

Vin Diesel (Dominic Torreto) and Michelle Rodriguez (Letty Ortiz) are the mainstays in the franchise since the first film. DJ entered the family in the fifth installment and quickly became friendly with the existing cast.

Johnson had a great relationship with the female cast of the franchise, as he shared in his 2016 Instagram post covered by ET. Therefore, we can assume he and Rodriguez share a cordian relationship even after his fallout with the male cast members. 

Furthermore,whether his return to Fast X lowered the tension between DJ, and Diesel is unknown. The return was a surprise as previously The Rock called Diesel “manipulative” for bringing in Paul Walker’s name to publicly ask him to return to the franchise.
