Edge rubbished the Head of the Table’s excuses and claimed he’s the carpenter at the table Roman sits. He then addressed Daniel Bryan’s claim that he should be in the main event of WrestleMania.

Bryan claimed he wrestled more than the Rated-R Superstar in the last three months, and he has a genuine love for the business. He said while Bryan wrestled once a week, he used to work at least four to six times a week, against opponents like the Undertaker, Mr. Perfect, Eddie Guerrero, and several WWE legends.

Daniel Bryan walked out and informed Edge it wasn’t his intention to affect him with his words.

“I have an infinite amount of respect for what you’ve done in your career,” said Bryan. While he respects Edge’s career, he didn’t challenge Reigns to face Edge but to head to the main event of WrestleMania.

The Rated-R Superstar got one up on Bryan, claiming Roman already beat him at Elimination Chamber. He disliked the way Bryan got a title shot against Reigns, even though he lost fair and square. “You’re better than this… But you’re not better than me,” said Edge as he exited the ring.

Will we see a change of scenario for WrestleMania?

Edge vs Roman Reigns is a certified dream match. With Roman firing on all cylinders as a heel, the Rumble winner would make a great babyface foil for the Tribal Chief. His odds of winning the title at WrestleMania aren’t favored, but the match will surely be one for the ages.

However, Daniel Bryan vs Edge is a match no one thought they’d see in this lifetime. Both men have very similar trajectories, as they both pointed out. They came into the business for themselves, and both were forced to retire after suffering career-threatening injuries. If Bryan’s return was emotional, Edge’s return was euphoric.
