Zac Efron draws parallel between Dancing and Wrestling
In response, he said, they were surprisingly similar. His words were, “Dancing and wrestling are surprisingly similar.” Other than his good looks and acting skills, Zac Efron is known for his dancing skills too, which he learned early in his life.

Efron further explained the reason behind feeling the same. He said, “There’s a choreographed element to both, and the more you do it, the better you get. Also, just the sense of moving with a partner: Sometimes you lead, and sometimes you’re holding on to the other guy. The learning curve for wrestling is you just go for it. For stuff like climbing up on the ropes and jumping off, you’ve just got to nut up and go for it. There’s no real practicing.”
Efron was referring to the wrestling moves performed by superstars as it depends upon the performers involved in the ring. A better in-ring performance depends upon the wrestler’s skills and coordination.
Both professional wrestling and dancing are physically expressive performance arts. Collaboration and arduous training is a necessity for both and they often result in creation of spectacle. While we know of Efron’s dancing prowess in the High School Musical franchise, where did he gain insight on the pro wrestling bizz?

Zac Efron draws experience from his role in Iron Claw
It has to be credited with his preparation for his role in the recent release, Iron Claw. The movie is a biopic to the legendary Von Erich family where Efron will play the role of Kevin Von Erich.
The 36-year-old actor considers the role to be his most challenging one. He said that he had to beef up to justify his physique for his new role. And now the hard-work is paying off as the movie has overshadowed Dwayne Johnson starring Fighting with my family with a box office collection of $2.4 million on Day 1.
