Hunter was announced as the number one player in the class of 2022 by Rival.com. He had been committed to Florida State since 2020. Even though he was expected to make the switch, no one thought it would be towards Jackson State.

His way of making the choice was quite interesting. He had Florida, Georgia, and Auburn hats in front of him, but he put those aside and his mother tossed him the Jackson hat.

Dwayne Johnson could have Travis Hunter at XFL soon

Johnson purchased XFL as his way of fulfilling his football dreams. At one point, he did want to be a professional football player, but it did not work for him.

Therefore, he bent the rules for himself and purchased the league to make football happen for him. Considering he said XFL is watching Hunter closely, it could be soon enough that the fans will see Travis Hunter at the football league with innovative rules and access.
