Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock Hires Doppelganger NFL Legend as XFL Coach

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has become one of the major actors in Hollywood. Since he has become a full-time actor, he has ventured into various businesses, which include his Tequila brand ‘Teremana Tequila’, Seven Bucks Production, and the latest one being XFL.

Johnson acquired XFL from his former boss in WWE, Vince McMahon. The Chairman of WWE had rebooted XFL in 2020, but the operations of the league were closed after five weeks because of the pandemic.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson calls an XFL coach brother

Dwayne Johnson, on Twitter, is seen sharing pictures of him with the coaches of the teams of the league. He was introducing the coaches in his iconic style of using some puns.

Recently, Johnson replied to one of the coaches on Twitter calling him his brother. The coach Hines Ward in his tweet shared how he was glad to work with XFL. Ward in the Tweet said, “So blessed to be able to work for some Great People #XFLLetsGo! @TheRock @DanyGarciaCo #XFL2023.”

Dwayne Johnson quickly replied to the tweet, saying, “Welcome to the @XFL2023 coach! I think we can pass as brothers lol Have fun and ball out. LFG!! @DanyGarciaCo.”

The reason here Johnson said they can pass as brothers is because both look similar according to The Brahma Bull. He congratulated Ward and gave him best wishes for the new season ahead.

The new season of XFL is likely to return its operations in February 2023. The coaches, XFL Officials, and The Rock himself are very much excited about the start of the league.

Johnson introduces other coaches from XFL

The Rock introduced Hines Ward in a pun intended way. Similarly, he also introduced other coaches of the league. He tweeted introducing coach Anthony Becht, saying, “Great seeing you Coach Becht and welcome to the @XFL2023! LFG!! 🏈👊🏾”

He introduced coach Terrell Buckley, “This Canes/Noles team up has been years in the making! Welcome to the @XFL2023 coach! (next time I’ll try not to look like a maniac💀) LFG!!”

He tweeted about Rod Woodson, “Welcome our Head Coaches to the @XFL2023. Coach Woodson, I know you know the saying because you lived it.. offense wins games, defense wins championships. Can’t wait to see you and your team light it up and have fun. LFG!!”

It honored the Rock to introduce coach Wade Phillips, “Coach Wade & The Rock” has a good ring to it. We might take our show on the road 🎶 Until then, this @NFL legend will Head Coach one of our exciting franchises. Welcome to the @XFL2023  coach. An honor to finally meet ya 👊🏾LFG!!”
