

After leaving WWE, Mercedes Varnado, aka Sasha Banks, took a long hiatus from professional wrestling. Her WWE departure was a controversial one and is still the most talked about moment in the wrestling world. However, earlier this year, she made her debut in NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 to come to the forefront with a new name Mercedes Moné. Recently, she talked about living her “dream” after leaving WWE last year.

‘The CEO’ shared a video on her Twitter handle, which was a trailer for her upcoming story regarding her NJPW debut. Banks has always called Japan as her second home and in the video, we can see an emotional Mercedes Varnado reacting to finally debuting for NJPW.
The NJPW star said, “Man, I can’t believe people supported me at this and I’m so f**king happy. I’ve never felt so (happy in my life). I literally felt so f**king happy.”
Moreover, she wrote in the caption, “We all have a dream this is mine Coming soon … #TheCeo #MercedesMonè”
This trailer seems to be about her story of the dream of wrestling in Japan coming true. As per her words, we can hope the full video will showcase her journey between the time she left WWE and debuted for NJPW at WrestleKingdom 17.

Banks and Naomi were the Women’s Tag Team champions, but they relinquished the titles and walked out from WWE during the May 16 episode of Raw. Moreover, the fans had her back and are supporting her as she wrestles on the east coast now.
