Former NXT Champion Adam Cole turned 32 on Monday, July 5. To make his day extra special his peers and loved ones from the pro wrestling industry shared birthday wishes.

Adam Cole’s girlfriend and AEW Women’s Champion Dr. Britt Baker DMD posted a beautiful wish with some pictures of Cole. She captioned the pictures with “Birthday babe alert.” 

Xavier Woods posted a wish from his ‘UpUpDownDown’ page, saying, “Happy Birthday to the Chili BEAST, Mr. Bonehead play AND the lead singer of Adam Cole & The BAY BAYS… @AdamColePro!! We actually HOPE you Chugs it up today!”

Woods’ video had Cole and AJ Styles mimicking Stone Cold Steve Austin. This BTS impressions video prompted the Hall of Famer himself to comment.

Austin retweeted Woods’ video and said, “Happy Birthday, kid!!” To this, Cole replied “Thank you, Steve! Oh, hell yea!!!” You can check out all the tweets below –

What is Adam Cole up to these days?

Adam Cole participated in a fatal four-way match at NXT Takeover: In Your House last month. However, he failed to win the title. Following the PPV, he hinted at a feud with the returning Samoa Joe.

Cole recently revealed that he discovered independent wrestling because of Samoa Joe, CM Punk, and Daniel Bryan. Although he is unsure whether Joe would get back in the ring, if he does Cole wants a match with him.

“Aside from the fact that I do respect him so much, I’m sick of him punking me out! [Laughs]. I gotta change this, immediately,” Cole said. Joe is in NXT as a special enforcer of NXT GM William Regal.

As the drafts are around the corner, there are talks of Cole going to the main roster, the longest reigning NXT Champion weighed in on it as well. While he knows the possibilities of the main roster, his time in NXT is not over yet.

“I would love to win the NXT title again, I would love to face Samoa Joe. I would love the chance to wrestle Isiah ‘Swerve’ Scott. There’s so many possibilities within that brand,” he said.

“Then of course with RAW or SmackDown there’s a bunch of talent that I haven’t had the chance to wrestle yet that I would love to as well. So it’s exciting, but there is definitely plenty for me to do in NXT yet,” Cole concluded.
