We certainly had an eventful evening down at the Full Sail University arena. The night kicked off with a heart breaking announcement from newly crowned NXT Champion Karrion Kross.

After a hard fought victory against Keith Lee, Kross was crowned the champion at NXT Takeover: XXX. Unfortunately, he suffered a separated shoulder during the match-up. This meant that he had to relinquish his title.

Kross’ loss meant that a window of opportunity was open for a sea of NXT Superstars. William Regal came out during the second hour of the broadcast and gave a golden opportunity to the Mount Rushmore of NXT.

Next week, a 60 minute iron man fatal four way match will take place to crown the new Champion. If the stipulation blew away your mind, wait till you hear the name of the competitors. Adam Cole, Finn Balor, Johnny Gargano and the returning Tommaso Ciampa will be battling it out for the gold.

Who will win the NXT Championship?

Kross’ announcement has created chaos in NXT. While we had a degree of finality about future proceedings after his victory, there’s nothing but unpredictability right now.

All four if these competitors are equally capable of walking away with the title. Perhaps one person who has a lesser of a chance is Adam Cole. He just ended a historic reign with the title and it will be odd to see him win it again.

That leaves us with three names. While Gargano and Ciampa have been champions in the recent past, Finn Balor hasn’t held any gold for what seems like forever. ‘The Demon King’ is certainly one of the most valuable entities on NXT. If he wins the title, it’ll certainly elevate the entire friend.

Plus, a feud between him and Karrion Kross in the future is a mouth-watering prospect. Kross will certainly gain some of his legitimacy back if he knocks off Balor upon his return. Do you think NXT should go ahead with this booking? Let us know in the comments section.
