In a recent tweet, Ripley retweeted a throwback post of WWE. The video showed the match between her and then Raw Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch, during last year’s Survivor Series. Ripley reminisced about the old days too.

Last year, Lynch went to NXT to face the Black and Gold brand’s Women’s Champion, Shayna Baszler. ‘The Man’ spoke about how she came down from the NXT ramp and after facing various struggles, she became the champion. Lynch called Baszler out, but Ripley showed up instead.

The women fought each other until The Four Horsewomen came out and tried to beat Lynch up. However, Ripley and Lynch teamed up and fended them off.

Later on, at Survivor Series, Baszler defeated Bayley and Lynch. However, Baszler lost her title to Ripley the next month.
