WATCH: Karrion Kross Chokes Out Former NXT Champion Samoa Joe

In the main of NXT, Karrion Kross successfully defended his NXT title against contender Johnny Gargano with Samoa Joe as special guest referee. But the night did not go well for Joe, as Kross wrapped him with a sleeper hold to choke him out until he passed away.
Kross had won the match against Gargano. Later Joe and Kross exchanged a few words in the ring after the match was over.
As Samoa was making his way out of the ring, Kross grabbed him from behind and immediately put Joe into a sleeper hold, and wrapped his legs around the former NXT champ.

The NXT champion was giving Joe a hard time throughout the match with Gargano, but Joe did not let Kross drive the tone of the match and stopped him to get under his skin. However, Kross was able to defeat Gargano thus keeping the championship.

The authorities brought Joe back into NXT as the enforcer of William Regal after the company fired him a couple of months back. Since then he has teased, to fight with many potential superstars of the Golden Brand.
Now that Kross has laid his hands on the Samoan Submission Machine, it will be interesting to see if Joe has something to say to it, or will he get himself back in the NXT title picture.
Will Samoa Joe screw Karrion Kross over?
Right now, WWE has made no statements regarding the in-ring return of Samoa Joe. He is solely responsible for helping out the General Manager of NXT and be in more of an enforcer role.

The medical staff earlier reported that the former champion is still not physically cleared to compete in any in-ring action because of the concussion he suffered in early 2020.

It’s a good sign to see Samoa Joe getting himself involved in some kind of in-ring action. It is just a matter of time before he is medically cleared by the doctors and he set out for the blood of Karrion Kross.
