Since Jinder Mahal returned to the WWE, he has been raising his voice when he feels like it. Even on Raw last week, Mahal spilled some beans on how he was overlooked by the company. Following his frustration, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis highlighted this on X as he agreed with ‘The Modern Day Maharaja’.

Moreover, he also praised Mahal, but his prime intention was to nudge the former champion to join the blue brand. Well, the war between the brands to have big stars on their shows has been evident for a long time, but if Aldis considers Jinder Mahal a big draw, it might take him close to the world title soon.

Dwayne Johnson lavished praise on The Modern Day Maharaja

Remember the Day 1 episode of Raw? It was an electrifying edition as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson returned to throw a not-so-subtle challenge on his cousin Roman Reigns. But before that, he made Jinder Mahal his prey, and the rest is history.

After hitting a People’s Elbow on the former champ and spending a great night on Raw, The Rock went on to post this electrifying experience on social media. The best part was that he praised Mahal in the video and even called him a “stud.” Thus, the 37-year-old has also grabbed the attention of Johnson, and receiving praise from him could only help in elevating his stature.

Chance to shine in the Royal Rumble match

As the Royal Rumble is around the corner, Mahal certainly has a huge opportunity to shine in the 30-man elimination match. Even if he doesn’t win the Royal Rumble match, he can still create a big-time opening by performing well inside the ring and leaving an impeccably positive impact.

An outstanding performance in the Royal Rumble match could also show the fans his real potential, and he could then be groomed for the ultimate price, the same as we saw with LA Knight.

One take at a time

Discussing what I witnessed on every episode of Raw with all my friends was what initially kept me connected with WWE. While everyone around me was gushing over John Cena, I was the only one rooting for 'The Best in the World' CM Punk. The best day was when my hero stood tall against theirs at the 2011 Money in the Bank PLE.
