At WrestleMania Backlash 2021, the Almighty Era reigned supreme once again. Not only did Bobby Lashley retain his WWE title, but he also demolished the challengers Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre.

In the penultimate match of the night, Lashley, McIntyre, and Strowman brawled from the word go. Lashley tried to establish a truce between himself and McIntyre as he extended his hand towards the ‘Scottish Psychopath.’

However, there was no response from McIntyre, and Strowman attacked the Champion. Bobby and Drew then worked on him and hit a double suplex.

After Strowman, the WrestleMania 37 opponent went at each other. Lashley sent McIntyre to the apron, and the latter sent him to the ring post. Meanwhile, Strowman recovered and took down both men at ringside.

Strowman tried to pin Lashley following a chokeslam in the middle of the ring, but he was unsuccessful. While Lashley was busy putting Strowman in the hurt lock, McIntyre came flying in and took both of them down.

The Scottish Psychopath sent Strowman out of the ring and worked upon Lashley with a modified ‘Zig-Zag.’ After Drew kicked out, Lashley attacked both menmen; he even had another two counts on Strowman following a chokeslam!

Bobby Lashley acted as the ultimate opportunist in the title match

Bobby and Drew took their animosity to the steel ramps where the latter was sent flying through the LED boards. While the champ attempted to suplex Drew into a hanging LED board, the latter, in turn, punished Lashley.

He threw Lashley around for a while before sending him into a LED Board. The actions were intensified as the board sparked and went dark. Interestingly, after this assault, Lashley disappeared for a while.

Yet, Strowman never failed to attack. Both men hit hard-hitting moves with close counts. Strowman attacked McIntyre with steel ramps and then threw him out of the ring.

Strowman followed up with the Strowman Express, but Drew hit a big suplex in front of the announce table. Although Braun initially landed on his neck, he recovered to counter McIntyre’s Claymore into a powerbomb through the announce table.
