Hell in a Cell 2021 with a lackluster finish. WWE Champion Bobby Lashley retained his championship over Drew McIntyre and ended the latter’s chances to take a shot at The Almighty’s reign.
Although the match was extremely demanding on three men, including MVP, ultimately the finish was criticized. Lashley won the match and ended his rivalry with McIntyre via a roll-up after almost half an hour of vicious fights.
Following the match, Drew showed off his ‘battle scars’ on Instagram. The wounds were a result of kendo stick shots, getting slammed onto tables and chairs, getting slammed into the steel cage, and more.

Drew was on the verge of winning and was looking to nail the Claymore Kick for the last time. However, MVP (who was trapped in the Cell earlier) pulled his legs and distracted him. Lashley took advantage of the distraction and rolled McIntyre up for the pin.
Unfortunately, the Scottish Warrior can not challenge Lashley for the title anymore. However, this would give Lashley a much-needed break. At the same time, as McIntyre hinted in the caption, he might just win it back in front of the live crowd in the future.
