Sheamus faced Matt Riddle in a highly physical contest to win a spot on the Raw Survivor Series team. The match was magnificent and can be called the match of the night. The match proved that magic can happen even on a mundane Raw episode if two brilliant performers are paired against each other. Sheamus and Riddle may have different styles, but they perfectly complimented each other. On the latest edition of Raw, both Superstars went back and forth. After a brilliant start to the match, Sheamus nailed a knee strike to the face on Riddle. The Celtic warrior then climbed up to the top rope to try something ambitious. After being pushed down, Riddle ran back up and struck with a super Exploder suplex on Sheamus. Sheamus kicked out of it and Riddle could not believe it. The Celtic warrior ragdolled Riddle all around the ring, delivering some big shots. Riddle put Sheamus in a sleeper hold after countering his Irish Curse backbreaker. The former WWE Champion looked to end things as he went for the Brogue kick. However, Riddle countered with a German suplex. As the match reached its end, Riddle looked to close things up with a Bro Derek. However, Sheamus turned the tables with a Brogue kick and picked up the win.
