Matt Riddle Sends A Hilarious Message To Randy Orton After Hitting A RKO on WWE RAW

On the last edition of Monday Night RAW (5/24/21), former United States Champion and the one-half of team “RK-Bro”, Matt Riddle picked up an uncanny victory over New Day’s Xavier Woods.

Not only this but Riddle won the match after winning his tag team partner Randy Orton’s finishing maneuver, RKO. Following the shocking victory, Riddle addressed Orton.

He was riding around his scooter when the WWE team caught up with him. “Randy! Did you see that, Bro? I just hit my very-first RKO!” Riddle addressed Orton who was absent from RAW last night.

“I’m just thinking about all the possibilities,” he said. Riddle said he might use the “sweet-little DDT” from Orton as well. “Is this what it feels like to hit your first RKO. Well, Randy it’s addicting!” A very hyped-up Riddle said he could not wait to see Orton later and hoped he loved the move.

However, Orton had a less satisfactory reaction. Orton tweeted out, “I’d say ‘nice form, but also don’t steal my sh*t’,” following the match.

Randy Orton texted Matt Riddle following the match

Following the event, Matt Riddle appeared on RAW Talk. Even in the segment, Riddle could not keep his excitement in check. He also weighed in on their equation.

“I wanted to get redemption for Randy,” Riddle told R-Truth. “I knew he was busy tonight. I heard he was watching Operation Dumbo Drop and eating some munchies. He knows how to take care of his body.”

“Randy was like, ‘I saw that, bro.’.” While Orton might not have actually called Riddle ‘bro,’ but he said: “If you know Randy like I do, there’s always a pause between his texts. I know he called me bro in his own subtle way.”

‘The Original Bro’ did not seek permission from Orton ahead of the move because “If he made the move look bad, he’d (Orton) have been pissed”, but things turned in Riddle’s favor.

Considering the RKO the “one of the greatest feelings of his life,” Riddle is hyped up over his new ‘bonding’ with Orton. He ended the segment by warning RAW Tag Team Champion AJ Styles and Omos.

“We’re coming for the championships. AJ and Omos, watch out bros,” concluded Riddle. The fans are hoping to have the uncanny tag team of RK-Bro back next week.
